How often do I use the CastCooler®?
Use the CastCooler® as often as you like, it cannot be overused. Whenever your cast or splint is moist, hot or stinky…use it. No need for painful splint removal or reapplication. Simply apply the CastCooler to the outside of your splint.
How do I use the CastCooler® and for how long?
The CastCooler® is so easy to use a child can use it. Simply wrap around your cast, hook to a vacuum and enjoy immediate cooling relief. Use as often as you like for 5-10 minutes daily.
Will the CastCooler® work with any cast or splint?
Yes, the CastCooler® is designed to work with all breathable casts and splints: leg, foot, arm, wrist, even hip-spica casts.
Does the CastCooler® require a special vacuum?
No, the CastCooler® is designed for use with any household vacuum. IF however, your cast has become wet or saturated, you MUST use a wet/dry vac as liquid will be quickly removed from the cast lining.
